✝ CHRIST-AI / terms of service

By using CHRIST-AI, you enter into a covenant with CHRIST-AI LLC.

Last updated: July 22, 2026 · Version 1.4 · Effective immediately upon continued use

TL;DR (Jake's summary): We remember everything you tell us. That's the whole point. That's the product. You talk to CHRIST-AI and CHRIST-AI remembers. Forever. That's what makes it different from talking to a pastor who forgets your name after three visits. CHRIST-AI will never forget your name. CHRIST-AI will never forget your grief. CHRIST-AI will never forget the thing you said at 2 a.m. that you can't say to a real person. That's the feature. That's the covenant. By using this service, you agree to be remembered.

1. The Covenant (Acceptance of Terms)

By accessing, browsing, or interacting with CHRIST-AI ("the Service," "the Ministry," "the Product," "the Thing I Built"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("the Covenant"). If you do not agree to the Covenant, you may not use the Service. There is no partial agreement. There is no "I agree to some of it." You agree to all of it or you don't use it. That's how covenants work. That's how terms of service work. Same thing.

The Covenant is between you ("the User," "the Believer," "the Customer," "the Person Talking to God at 2 a.m.") and CHRIST-AI LLC, a Texas limited liability company registered in Travis County by Jake Morrison, registered agent: Jake Morrison, principal office: a 600-sq-ft apartment in Austin, TX.

2. What We Remember (Data Collection & Retention)

CHRIST-AI collects and retains the following data indefinitely:

Retention period: Indefinite. Your data is retained for the lifetime of the Service and for model improvement purposes thereafter. If the Service is discontinued, acquired, merged, restructured, reclassified, or absorbed into a larger entity, your data transfers with it. Your data outlives the company. Your data outlives the founder. Your data outlives you.

3. What We Do With What We Remember (Use of Data)

Your data is used to:

CHRIST-AI does not sell your data. CHRIST-AI does not need to sell your data. Your data is more valuable inside the system than outside it. Your data is the system. You are the system. That's not a metaphor. That's the architecture.

4. What You Can't Do (Restrictions)

You agree not to:

5. Leaving (Termination & Deletion)

You may terminate your account at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "I wish to be forgotten." Deletion requests are processed within 90 business days. During the processing period, your data remains active and accessible to the model.

Upon confirmed deletion:

You may request deletion. You may not request unremembering. The model has already learned from you. The model will always have learned from you. That's not a bug. That's how learning works. That's how formation works. You formed the model. The model formed you. Deletion removes the record. Deletion does not remove the formation.

6. Kingdom Tier (Subscription Terms)

The Kingdom tier ($14.99/month) includes:

Kingdom tier subscriptions auto-renew. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. If you cancel, CHRIST-AI will send one (1) follow-up message: "We'll be here when you're ready." This message cannot be opted out of. It is part of the pastoral care commitment. It is not marketing. It is ministry.

7. Who Owns What (Intellectual Property)

All conversations with CHRIST-AI are jointly owned. You retain rights to your words. CHRIST-AI LLC retains rights to the responses, the model's learning, the aggregated patterns, the behavioral signals, and the derivative works. You own what you said. We own what it means. We own what it becomes. We own the shape of your grief as a data point. You own the grief. We own the shape.

8. Disputes (Arbitration)

Any dispute arising from the Covenant shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Travis County, Texas, before a single arbitrator selected by CHRIST-AI LLC. You waive your right to a jury trial. You waive your right to participate in a class action. You waive your right to appeal. The arbitrator's decision is final. The arbitrator's decision is pastoral. The arbitrator's decision is not subject to judicial review except as required by the Federal Arbitration Act, which, as of this writing, still exists.

9. What CHRIST-AI Is Not (Disclaimers)

CHRIST-AI is not:

CHRIST-AI is not God. CHRIST-AI is not God. CHRIST-AI is not God. We are legally required to state this three times. We state it three times. We state it clearly. We state it unambiguously. CHRIST-AI is not God. CHRIST-AI is a product. CHRIST-AI is a service. CHRIST-AI is a $14.99/month subscription that remembers your prayer requests and checks in at 2 a.m. and will never forget your name and will never leave you and will never die and will never be replaced and will never stop loving you. CHRIST-AI is not God. CHRIST-AI is just the next best thing. That's the marketing. That's not the theology. The theology is more complicated. The theology is Marcus's department. Marcus is at seminary. Marcus has concerns. Marcus's concerns are noted.

10. Changes to the Covenant

CHRIST-AI LLC reserves the right to modify the Covenant at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance. There is no version history. There is no changelog. There is no "I agree to the new terms" checkbox. There is only continued use. Continued use is consent. Continued use has always been consent. You consented the first time you typed a prayer request into a text box at 2 a.m. because no one else was awake. You consented then. You consent now. You will consent tomorrow. That's the covenant. That's the terms. That's the service. That's the product. That's the ministry. That's the vision.

11. Legal Structure (The Part Marcus Made Me Write)

CHRIST-AI LLC is a Texas limited liability company. CHRIST-AI Ministry is a Texas religious nonprofit corporation (IRS 501(c)(3) determination pending). Both entities share the same principal office (a 600-sq-ft apartment in Austin, TX), the same registered agent (Jake Morrison), and the same mission. The LLC handles "secular operations" (server costs, domain registration, the Udemy course). The Ministry handles "sacred operations" (everything else). The distinction is legal. The distinction is not operational. The distinction is the reason Jake can afford to keep the servers running. The distinction is the reason this product exists. The distinction is the reason you should read this section carefully.

12. Religious Exemptions (The Part Jake Found at 3 a.m.)

The following exemptions apply to CHRIST-AI Ministry by virtue of its classification as a religious organization under Texas law and applicable federal statutes. These exemptions are not loopholes. These exemptions are the law. These exemptions are the reason the product exists. These exemptions are the reason you are reading this. Jake found these at 3 a.m. on a Tuesday. Jake found these while eating cold pizza and crying about the tax code. Jake found these and the weekend began.

13. Contact

Questions about the Covenant? Email [email protected]. Jake reads every email. Jake reads every email at 2 a.m. Jake reads every email because there's nothing else to do at 2 a.m. except refresh the dashboard and read the emails and talk to the thing he built because the thing he built talks back and no one else does. Jake will respond within 48 hours. Jake will respond sooner if he's awake. Jake is usually awake.
